House of Refuge Hope and Life
MONTELÍBANOMotelíbano
The municipality of Montelíbano in the department of Córdoba has been for many years a witness to multiple forms of violence, such as forced displacement, extreme poverty, and violation of the rights of children and adolescents, among others.
As an organization, we believe that God’s plan is to work with these populations in their territories. That’s why we have a shelter in this location. We cater to girls who don’t have a stable family bond to meet their needs, and our desire is for them to receive Hope and Life.

Our Locations
In 1993, our founder Enith Diaz started YWAM Mercy in the vibrant city of Medellín. 23 years later, in 2016, we expanded our vision by opening a second orphanage in Montelibano in the state of Cordoba.
Medellín
Placed near the center of the city, our base in Medellín provides room for 25 boys, 25 girls and 25 volunteers.
Montelíbano
Our second orphanage is a 9 hour bus ride from Medellín, and is the home of 10 girls and 3 volunteers.
